TROY, Alabama – Troy co-offensive coordinator and offensive line coach Matt Moore has been nominated for the Broyles Award, the Broyles Foundation announced Wednesday. The Broyles Award is presented annually to the nation's top assistant coach.
Moore has tutored an offensive line that currently leads the country with just five sacks allowed and ranks sixth nationally with just 45 tackles for loss allowed this season. Additionally, the Troy offensive line has paved the way for Jordan Chunn to become the ninth 1,000-yard rusher in school history. Chunn leads the Sun Belt with 10 rushing touchdowns and ranks second with 107.
