TROY, Ala. – A 10-day trip in May to Belize changed the life of rising sophomore Malik Burnett. A guard on the Troy men's basketball team, Burnett traveled to the small country in Central America to share his passion of basketball and the Gospel.
"It was a great experience and I loved every minute of the trip," Burnett said. "We really had a chance to get to know the locals and bring them closer to God by sharing our story. I really loved how all the kids looked up to us and seeing the smiles on their faces from how we were able to impact their lives was great.
