KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. – Nicole Lorup shot a 2-under 70 in Tuesday's final round of the Palmetto Intercollegiate and finished with a school and tournament record 9-under to claim the individual title; Troy's first since the 2015-16 season.
Lorup's 207 total established a new Troy 54-hole record besting Fátima Fernández Cano's previous record of 208 at the Samford Intercollegiate in 2016.
She played each half of the course at 1-under in the final round for her third round under par of the season. Lorup carded three birdies on the front nine, including back-to-back on the eighth and ninth.
