TROY, Ala. – Leanna Johnson was tabbed as the No. 6 pitcher in D1 Softball's analytical rankings the organization announced Thursday.
The analytical rankings are based off of three categories: zone control, pitch ability and durability. Johnson, who pitched 94 of the teams 151 total innings in 2020, owned the strike zone ranking sixth nationally in strikeouts with 137 while also holding opponents just a .153 batting average.
"I am so incredibly proud of Leanna," head coach Beth Mullins said. "She is such a competitor and just a true Trojan through and through.
