Late Run Pushes Trojans to Victory over App State

TROY, Ala. -- Troy hit its final 10 free-throw attempts of the evening, and freshman nailed his final six attempts to push the Troy men's basketball program to a wire-to-wire 71-62 victory over first-place Appalachian State Friday night at Trojan Arena.

The Trojans, who improved to 4-0 this season at Trojan Arena, held the potent Mountaineer attack to just 2-of-19 shooting from behind the arc, and to just 20-of-60 (33.3 percent) shooting overall.

Senior led the way for the Trojans early scoring 12 of his career-best 23 points in the first half, while struck 10 of his career-best 17 in the second period.
