TROY, Ala. – Coming off a record-setting performance Saturday, Troy senior quarterback Kaleb Barker has been named the Sun Belt Conference Offensive Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday.
Barker tied a Troy school record with six touchdown passes – five in the first half – in the Trojans' victory at Texas State this past weekend. His tally is the third most in the FBS this season and the second most in Sun Belt history.
The Decatur, Alabama native completed 30-of-43 passes for 363 yards in the game for his sixth 300-yard game of the season.
