The rallying cry for Troy head football since coach Neal Brown arrived back on the scene three years ago has been “Rebuild the Wall.”
Suffice to say part of that wall is already rock solid.
The Trojans’ defense continues to impress under the architecture of veteran defensive coordinator Vic Koenning, who like Brown is in his second stint as part of the Troy football program.
During a 34-10 road win over Georgia State on Saturday, the Troy defenders pounded the Panthers like mincemeat – recording four sacks worth 24 yards in losses, which included 10 overall tackles for losses totaling 40 yards.
