TROY, Alabama – Troy senior Joey Denison was named a Perfect Game All-American Second Team player, the organization announced Wednesday afternoon.
The honor is Denison's most recent in a string of several postseason awards including the Sun Belt Player of the Year, All-Sun Belt First Team, Athens Regional All-Tournament Team and Collegiate Baseball All-American.
He led the conference in batting average, doubles, RBI and several other batting categories; while setting the school's single-season RBI record with 81 this season – which ranks second nationally.
