Conference alignment in the early portions of this decade certainly created its share of controversy and intense discussion. Sure, everyone will remember Nebraska’s move to the Big 10 (or actually, 14 now with Rutgers and Maryland eventually changing spots), but even the domino effect of similar changes made an immense impact on the lower levels of the FBS.
