SAN MARCOS, Texas – Lacey Jeffcoat has been named to the 2019 Sun Belt Volleyball Championships All-Tournament team, the league announced Sunday. Jeffcoat is Troy's third-ever selection to the Sun Belt team and the first since 2013.
Jeffcoat recorded 39 digs in eight sets played at the tournament, including a career-high 29 in Troy's thrilling five-set win over Arkansas State in the quarter finals. The sophomore averaged 4.88 digs per set, which was the second-best mark among tournament participants.
The Mountain Brook, Ala., native found herself at the service line with Troy down 14-10 in the fifth set to Arkansas State.
