TROY – Neal Brown felt like he and his Troy Trojans lost more than just a game Wednesday night.
“We didn’t take advantage of a great opportunity,” a disappointed Brown said.
What Brown gained was a newer level of respect for how he’s handling the 19-8 loss to South Alabama, 11 days after shocking the college football world with that win at LSU.
“They outplayed us, outcoached us,” Brown said. “Our guys weren’t ready to go and it’s on me."
