TROY — Steven Rowzee was calmly perusing a grocery store when he received a small signal of the significance of what Troy football had done.
A fellow shopper noted a Troy shirt on Rowzee’s 6-foot-3, 310-pound frame Sunday, made a safe assumption and quickly noted the Trojans’ 24-21 win at LSU.
“He just walked up to me and congratulated me,” Rowzee said. “I know it made them feel pretty good. I was happy to get him that.”
The Trojans (4-1) have been dealing with such recognition ever since Saturday night.
