TROY, Ala. – After closing out yet another successful season with the Troy women's basketball team, head coach Chanda Rigby earned the Bubba Scott Lifetime Achievement Award at the Alabama High School Athletic Association Convention Thursday.
Rigby earns the distinction after leading the Trojans to a Sun Belt Regular Season title this past season. Troy posted a 24-9 record, the fourth consecutive 20-win season for the program, and a 13-2 conference record, the third straight season with just two conference losses.
"On behalf of Troy University and Troy Athletics, I'd like to congratulate Chanda Rigby for this well-deserved recognition," Director of Athletics Brent Jones said.
