ARLINGTON, Texas – Troy (16-4, 6-2 Sun Belt) picked up its second-ever win over UT Arlington after a 3-1 (25-22, 13-25, 25, 25-23) victory over the Mavericks Saturday night in College Park Center. The Trojans finish with a 5-1 record against Sun Belt West Division teams.
Two Trojans passed impressive career milestones on the road. Amara Anderson reached the 2,000-career assist mark while Cheyenne Hayes became the 11th Trojan in school history to reach 1,000 career kills.
"What's most fun about this is Cheyenne and Amara are both great people and high character young women," head coach Josh Lauer said.
