TROY, Ala. – Cheyenne Hayes and Amara Anderson have both garnered Sun Belt Player of the Week honors, the league office announced Monday. Hayes was named offensive player of the week while Anderson was named setter of the week. Both players were also named to the Jax State Invitational All-Tournament team.
Hayes was integral in leading Troy to a 2-1 weekend at the Jax State Invitational where she registered a league-best 57 kills in three matches (5.18 K/S). The junior's .307 attack percentage ranks fourth in the Sun Belt through the opening weekend of the season.
