Frederic Breaks Record as Trojans Fall to South Alabama

MOBILE, Ala.Drew Frederic broke Troy's all-time runs record as the Trojans fell in game two of the series against South Alabama. Troy struggled once again to get the bats going as it fell 6-3 to the Jags Friday night at Stanky Field in Mobile.

Frederic scored the 191st run of his career on a solo home run in the top of the sixth inning, breaking Troy's school record for runs scored. The blast was the 23rd longball of the senior's storied career.

South Alabama (15-10, 4-1 SBC) struck first with a pair of runs in the opening frame and added four runs, all with two outs, across the fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh innings to lead 6-1 entering the final inning.
