TROY, Ala. – The Troy, Louisiana series comes to a split 1-1 after a 9-2 loss on Saturday afternoon in the Troy Softball Complex.
After being held silent through the first three innings, the Ragin' Cajuns (35-13, 15-2 SBC) rattled off 10 hits to the Trojans (30-14-1, 11-5-1 SBC) one in the remaining four.
Troy struck first in the bottom of the third after started it from the eighth spot. The catcher battled through eight pitches before finding her ball for a single down the left-field line. With subbed in to pinch run, laid a sac bunt to advance her to scoring position.
