Roseto, Italy – Recent Troy graduate Wesley Person has signed a professional basketball contract with the Roseto Sharks in Italy's Serie A2, the Brantley, Ala., native announced on Wednesday.
Person signed a one-year deal with the Roseto Sharks.
"It feels good to sign my first professional contract," Person said. "The hard work is paying off and getting the opportunity to play professional at any level is a blessing. I'm ready to start and see what's in store."
The Serie A2 league is the second-tier of the three-tier Italian league pyramid where promotion and relegation occur between the leagues.
