TROY, Ala. – One of the best to ever wear the Troy uniform, Fátima Fernández Cano, continues to shine in her professional career after capturing the Carlisle Arizona Women's Golf Classic over the weekend on the Epson Tour.
Cano fired a 17-under to win the event by three strokes, her second career win on the tour, which included an 11-under 61 in the event's third round; Cano shot under-par in all four rounds.
"It's super sweet," Cano told EpsonTour.com. "I came into this tournament as a preparation to continue my LPGA career.
