Former LeFlore basketball standouts Japonica James and Jas Hill, now playing at Tallahassee Community College, have signed to play next year at Troy University.
The duo led TCC to a 23-8 record a year ago. The team is off to a 5-0 start in 2017-18. In 2016, James and Hill led LeFlore to a 34-0 record and the Class 6A state title.
"I've been watching these two since high school, and I've never seen a better guard-post duo than them," Troy head coach Chanda Rigby. "I'm very proud that they made the choice to be Trojans."
At TCC, James is averaging 24.
