For many parents, sending the youngest child off to college usually brings about empty nest syndrome and a quiet void around the house for the first few months. However, for Tim Evans and his wife, Patti, sending their son, Joe, off to Troy brought a whole new family into their lives- the Trojan family.
The Evans never lived in Troy, but they have experienced the love and passion for the Trojans from their home in Alabaster, Ala. In fact, they consider Troy to be their second home. Both Tim and Patti are graduates of Samford University in Birmingham.
