LSU will be missing some starters this week for the game against Troy.
Senior safety Ed Paris will miss the remainder of the season with a knee injury, LSU coach Ed Orgeron told NOLA.com on Monday.
"He's going to be out for the season," Orgeron said. "He underwent an operation. Hopefully we can redshirt him and get him back for next year."
Paris only played in three games this season and should qualify for a medical hardship waiver and get another year to play.
Orgeron also told the media Monday he doesn't expect running back Derrius Guice to play Saturday against Troy.
