TROY – Two months after declaring he wanted to be a leader for the Troy defense, returning starter Tyler Murray on Friday announced his decision to transfer.
“I would like to thank Troy University for the opportunities that were given to me,” Murray said on Twitter. “I appreciate everybody who have supported and helped me grow during my 2 years at Troy. However, I have decided to transfer from Troy to pursue other opportunities that are more fitting for my athletic abilities as well as my academic interest.
