Daren Bates, Brynden Trawick stick together in free-agency move

Last season, linebacker Daren Bates and safety Brynden Trawick joined Oakland as free agents and helped make the Raiders' special teams among the best in the NFL. They've got a chance to do it again in 2017 with the Tennessee Titans.

On the first day of NFL free agency for the 2017 offseason, Bates and Trawick signed with Tennessee on Thursday. Unlike the one-year deals they got with the Raiders, Bates and Trawick received multi-year contracts with the Titans.

Reports on Thursday indicated Bates had signed a three-year, $6 million contract and Trawick got a two-year deal worth $4.
