Complete Effort Powers Troy Past South Alabama

TROY, Ala. – Behind a complete effort from all 10 starters, Troy cruised past South Alabama, 3-0, Wednesday night at the Troy Softball Complex, extending its Sun Belt Conference win streak to 10.

For the first time in program history, Troy (26-6, 10-0 Sun Belt) has started off conference play unscathed through the first 10 games.

Leanna Johnson (15-3) opened up the contest firing on all cylinders, retiring the first nine batters faced.

Kelly Horne broke the deadlock in the bottom of the third contributing an infield single that scored Jade Sinness, who led off with a double to right field.
