TROY – Competition ruled the day during Saturday’s T-Day scrimmage at Veterans Memorial Stadium.
The Troy Trojans’ Gray squad outscored the White 17-16 in regular play, but a 5-3 advantage in one-on-one drills sealed a 21-20 victory – and steak dinners – for the White squad. Troy head coach Neal Brown said the eight one-on-one drills provided fans some insight to how daily practices are organized in his program.
“It’s all about competition. It’s all about energy. It’s all about fun,” the third-year head coach said. “We started the scrimmage with the opportunity to earn points with our competitions.
