TROY – Troy football coaches and players insist Coastal Carolina has their full attention this week.
Actually, every college team in America says that every week, but the Trojans (7-2 overall, 4-1 Sun Belt) saw a reminder of what can happen when overlooking an opponent.
The Chanticleers (1-8, 0-5) could have, should have, would have knocked off Arkansas last Saturday. The Razorbacks trailed by 13 points in the fourth quarter before rallying. That performance was noticed in Troy.
“I was really pulling for them, it would’ve been a big win for our conference,” Troy head coach Neal Brown said.
