Carolina Panthers' Mario Addison returning to Birmingham to deliver Thanksgiving turkeys

will be back in Birmingham on Thursday to deliver turkeys one week before Thanksgiving.

Addison is teaming with the Housing Authority of the Birmingham District again to provide Thanksgiving turkeys for more than 300 families in public housing.

Addison is scheduled to visit North Birmingham Homes at 1 p.m. CST Thursday. He plans to visit the "Vice Hill" apartment where he lived as a child, taking a turkey to deliver with him.

The housing authority also is partnering with State Rep. Mary Moore and State Sen. Linda Coleman, who have provided assistance to deliver additional Thanksgiving meals to public-housing residents.
