Carolina Panthers defensive end Mario Addison wanted to give back to his old neighborhood.
The former Tarrant and Troy University star helped other Carolina teammates with projects where they grew up through the years and decided it was his time.
Addison partnered with the Housing Authority of the Birmingham District to provide Thanksgiving turkeys for more than 300 families living in public housing on Thursday.
"It feels good, it feels amazing," Addison said. "I see a whole lot of familiar faces I grew up with, old people, young people. It feels good to be able to put smiles on their faces when you come back.
