The Troy University men's tennis program opened its fall season in thrilling fashion as freshman Carles Anton won his first collegiate tournament championship.
Final Results Anton started Sunday needing two singles victories to walk away from his first tournament crown. Anton opened semifinal action against Jeremy Taylor of Memphis. After dropping the opening set 1-6, Anton battles back to take set two, 7-6. The two played a 10-point super-tiebreak with Anton coming away with the win by a score of 10-6 to advance to the finals.
