TROY — Jordan Chunn’s final home opener was a memorable one.
Troy’s senior running back took a leading role in the Trojans’ 34-7 win over Alabama State on Saturday before a Veterans Memorial Stadium-record crowd of 29,278.
Chunn tied his career high with three rushing touchdowns.
He also set career highs with seven receptions and 93 receiving yards.
Chunn, who entered the season as Troy’s all-time leader in rushing touchdowns, has 40 in his career. On Saturday, his scoring runs covered 4, 15 and 3 yards.
He finished with 61 yards rushing on 13 carries.
