TROY, Ala. – The ball was flying out of Riddle-Pace Field Saturday afternoon as Troy and Appalachian State combined for 22 hits, six home runs, two grand slams, and 20 runs scored in the regular season finale as the Mountaineers were able to salvage a win after defeating Troy 12-8.
Caleb Bartolero, Mason Kenney, Donovan Whibbs, Brandon Schrepf, Zach Fruit, Noah Janney, Clay Stearns, Hudson Hartsfield, and Nick Woolfolk were the nine seniors honored before the game for their countless contributions to the Troy baseball program.
