Offensive tackle Antonio Garcia became the first Troy player picked in the NFL Draft since 2012 when the New England Patriots selected him in the third round on Friday night.
Garcia was the 85th player picked in the 2017 NFL Draft.
Garcia is the Trojans' first draft pick since the Atlanta Falcons selected defensive end Jonathan Massaquoi in the fifth round of the 2012 NFL Draft. Garcia is the 34th Troy player to be drafted.
The first first-team All-State selection from Charles Drew High School in Riverdale, Georgia, in 2011, Garcia was Troy's starting left offensive tackle for four seasons after taking a redshirt year.
