Troy, Ala. – Amara Anderson has been named Sun Belt Setter of the Week, the league office announced Monday. This marks Anderson's fifth time receiving the weekly award this season and the seventh time in her career.
"Amara continues to play at an elite level and show that she's one of the best setters in the country," head coach Josh Lauer said. "She continues to lead our offense in a positive direction and be a great teammate on and off the court."
The sophomore posted an impressive weekend, recording 43 assists and 11 digs en route to her 11th double-double of the season against Appalachian State.
