TROY, Ala. – Troy's Amara Anderson has won the Sun Belt Setter of the Week award for the second consecutive week, the league announced on Tuesday. This is the third time in her career that she has taken home the award in back-to-back weeks.
"Amara had an excellent weekend, head coach Josh Lauer said. She kept our offense balanced and was a terrific teammate and court leader. She did a fantastic job serving and overall was highly consistent in each of our matches. A well-deserved honor, and I appreciate the other coaches in the sunbelt recognizing Amara's high level of play.
