NEW ORLEANS — When the Troy Trojans walked off Bourbon Street for the final time — or were carried, whatever the case may be — they could start dreaming about next year.
Troy’s 50-30 win over North Texas on Saturday in the New Orleans Bowl capped a big season.
The Trojans (11-2) picked up their most wins since moving to Division I-A and added the school’s sixth Sun Belt Conference championship.
But has the program, to borrow a phrase coach Neal Brown started soon after he was hired in December 2014, rebuilt the wall?
