3 things we learned from Troy's 20-17 loss to Middle Tennessee

TROY — Playing for the first time in two weeks, Troy (4-4, 2-2 Sun Belt) lost against Middle Tennessee (3-6, 2-4 Conference-USA), 20-17, at Veterans Memorial Stadium. The Trojans dropped their second matchup against the Blue Raiders after beating them on Sept. 19.

COVID-19 derails second-straight week

Last week, the pandemic forced Troy to postpone its game against Coastal Carolina. Positive tests and injuries to a specific position group prevented the Trojans from taking the field. Six days later, Troy coach Chip Lindsey's announced he had COVID-19 and would miss Saturday's game, sending the program into more tumult.
