The Troy Trojanstraveled to Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and defeated the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders 47-14 on Saturday afternoon.

Gunnar Watson is here to stay
Watson validated Chip Lindsey naming him the starting quarterback following a scrimmage back in August.
The 6-foot-2 sophomore passed for 248 yards with two touchdowns and an interception. He was 26 of 37 on the day.
In the first half, he connected with Khalil McClain for two scores – of 8 and 5 yards , which gave the Trojans a comfortable lead going into the half.
