Wolves cheekily change their Twitter bio to declare themselves 2018-19 Premier League champions after they finished in seventh behind the Big Six seeking to form breakaway European Super League

Wolves have jokingly declared themselves Premier League champions for the 2018-2019 season in response to the formation of a European Super League.

The so-called 'Big Six' of Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester City, Arsenal and Tottenham announced their intention to join a breakaway competition on Sunday.

Nuno Espirito Santo's side finished seventh in the 2018-2019 campaign, behind those six clubs, and they now changed their Twitter bio to read: 'Official account of Wolverhampton Wanderers. Premier League Champions 2018/19.'
