Winks on new deal: 'It's an ambitious time for us all'

The all-action central midfielder enjoyed a superb breakthrough season in 2016-17 and followed that up with some eye-catching displays in the first few months of 2017-18, including two memorable displays against Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League.

Unfortunately, an ankle injury has limited his game time in 2018 and, by his own admission, that setback was tough to take.

But with his new deal signed and surgery lined up to get him back on the right track, Harry has a new air of optimism ahead of the summer.

“I’m delighted to sign a new contract with the club,” said the Academy product, who has made 61 appearances for us to date.
