The Uefa Super Cup will take place in Udine, Italy, on Wednesday, 13 August at 20:00 BST when Paris St-Germain face Tottenham Hotspur.
The 25,000-seater Stadio Friuli - home to Serie A club Udinese - will become the 13th venue to host the fixture since it switched away from Monaco in 2012.
The annual match, which pits the Champions League winners against the Europa League, will have a new winner this season as former runners-up PSG face debutants Spurs.
PSG secured their place after a 5-0 victory against Inter Milan in the Champions League final, while Spurs booked their spot by beating Manchester United 1-0 in May's Europa League final.
