As always, it was a rollercoaster ride in east London. We were cruising at 3-0 up on the hour but West Ham pulled a goal back, Serge Aurier was then sent off and our 10 men had to batten down the hatches for the final 20 minutes.
In fairness, we arguably had the better chances on the break as West Ham pushed on but when Cheikhou Kouyate headed home for 3-2 with three minutes (plus four minutes added time) remaining, you knew the Hammers would throw everything at us, with the aerial weapon of Andy Carroll ready to cause mayhem.
