VIEW FROM THE AWAY END: Tottenham fan brands 6-1 hammering at Newcastle a 'new low' for Spurs supporters - while another labels the drab performance 'PATHETIC'

Newcastle went within touching distance of Champions League qualification next season as they tore top-four rivals Tottenham apart in a 6-1 rout at St James' Park on Sunday.

Sweden international Alexander Isak, who joined Newcastle last summer for £60million, scored twice in an astonishing first-half blitz which saw Eddie Howe's men race into a 5-0 lead after just 21 minutes.

Jacob Murphy also helped himself to a double either side of Joelinton's strike with substitute Callum Wilson adding a sixth in front of a delighted crowd of 52,252 at St James'.
