Tottenham are set to be without Rodrigo Bentancur for at least six months after he suffered a reported anterior cruciate ligament injury away to Leicester.
Bentancur, who scored the opening goal in Tottenham's 4-1 defeat, was able to walk off the pitch but he had his face buried in his hands knowing the damage had been severe.
The Evening Standard have reported that Bentancur is now set to be out until August at the earliest - bringing his 2022-23 season to a premature end.
Things are going from bad to worse for Tottenham boss Antonio Conte on the injury front, with Bentancur adding to their crisis.
