Tottenham and Real Madrid both lost at the weekend but don’t expect sparks to fly at Wembley as both managers eye a point.
Tottenham earned a 1-1 draw at the Bernabeu last month but Real Madrid remain unbeaten in five previous games against Spurs (W3 D2)
Tottenham secured a credible point in Madrid two weeks ago but there was a sense they could have got more if they’d had a bit of luck. Nevertheless, they certainly weren’t daunted by the occasion in Mauricio Pochettino’s greatest European test since becoming Spurs manager. Tottenham are unbeaten in their Champions League campaign this season (W2 D1) and another draw would put them at least four points ahead of Group H’s third-placed team, with two matches remaining.
