Manchester United and Anthony Martial have reportedly reached a "standstill" in their contract talks, with Tottenham Hotspur said to be closely monitoring the Frenchman's position.
According to RMC Sport (h/t Tom Coast of Sport Witness), discussions over an extension between the Red Devils and the forward have ground to a halt.
It's suggested in the report that discussions about a new deal had initially taken place in December, but the 22-year-old's agent has not received anything since from United. The former Monaco man is reportedly "astonished" at United's ponderous approach to the new contract.
