Tottenham to reignite interest in Schalke star Max Meyer, claim reports in Germany

Tottenham are considering another bid to sign Schalke star Max Meyer in January, according to reports in Germany.

Spurs were tracking the attacking midfielder during the summer but were unable to get a deal over the line.

Since the move collapsed, Meyer has continued to impress for Schalke despite the club struggling in the bottom half of the Bundesliga.

And now, according to German magazine Sport Bild, Tottenham are ready to go back in for the playmaker in the upcoming transfer window.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino reportedly wants to add to his attacking options when the market reopens and he has earmarked the 21-year-old as a top target.
