Tottenham new boy Sergio Reguilon was sold by Real Madrid 'because of a disagreement with manager Zinedine Zidane's son, Luca'

Real Madrid reportedly sold Sergio Reguilon to Tottenham this summer because of a disagreement between the full-back and Luca Zidane, the son of manager Zinedine Zidane.

Reguilon completed a £30million move to north London earlier this year, providing Jose Mourinho with another option at left back.

It appeared to be something of a coup, given Reguilon had just played an important role in helping Sevilla to the Europa League final, which they won against Inter Milan, during a loan spell.

Zidane managed Reguilon briefly in the Real B team but sent him out on loan several times

But it was clear he had no future at the Bernabeu and within weeks of returning to the Spanish capital he had sealed a move to Spurs.
