August is over and Harry Kane is back in the goals. While some Spurs fans might have rather he had broken his duck for the season against Chelsea and Burnley rather than with a double against Malta in a World Cup qualifier for England, most will be just relieved that Tottenham's star striker has rediscovered the scoring knack. Spurs will now be hoping they are able to kick on from their now-customary slow start to the season and make their mark in both the Premier League and the Champions League qualifiers.
While talk of a "Wembley Curse" is clearly hyperbole, it's fair to say that Spurs have yet to come to terms with the dimensions and the atmosphere of their temporary home.
