Tottenham manager Antonio Conte issues rallying cry to stars claiming Champions League qualification will 'change lives' - and insists they have a 'great desire' to finish in the top four

Antonio Conte has told his Tottenham players that they can change their lives if they reach next season's Champions League and that prospect should give them 'great desire' to finish in the top four.

Spurs are in pole position to do so after a run of four successive wins has lifted them up to fourth in the Premier League, three points above Arsenal though having played a game more.

After watching this week's Champions League quarter-final action, Conte said: 'Yesterday and two days ago we watched how important it is to play Champions League, how fascinating are these type of games and I'm sure there is a great desire in my players to be protagonists in this competition but we know very well there are other teams very strong.
